I thought these would just be a quick backyard toy, but the lights make a huge difference at night. They shoot much higher than I expected and look really cool spinning back down.
We brought these outside after dinner and somehow everyone ended up competing to see who could launch one the highest. Very simple to use and much more entertaining than I expected.
The first launch surprised me. Give the band a good pull and these things go seriously high. The spinning descent is probably the best part because you can watch the light all the way down.
I put these out during an evening get-together and they got passed around almost immediately. Once it got dark and everyone could see the LEDs, even the adults kept asking for another turn.
The launch is fun, but watching the helicopter light up and spiral back toward the ground is what makes it. It looks much better in person once the sky starts getting dark.
It took us one launch to figure out how far to pull back. After that everyone had it down. We had a few flying at the same time and they looked amazing against the night sky.
I honestly didn't expect everyone to enjoy these as much as they did. You launch one and immediately want to do it again. Great little thing to keep around for warm evenings outside.
One of those products that looks basic until you actually use it. We kept launching them over and over trying to get the highest shot. The slow spinning return makes them easy to follow.
We packed these for a weekend away and pulled them out after dark. They barely take up any room and gave us something fun to do around the campsite before calling it a night.
